How to Play Never Have I Ever
The classic party game that reveals secrets, sparks stories, and gets everyone laughing. Here's everything you need to know.
The Rules
Set Up
Gather your group in a circle. Everyone should have their drink of choice (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). The game works best with 4 or more players.
Take Turns
One player starts by saying "Never have I ever..." followed by something they've never done. For example: "Never have I ever been skydiving."
Drink If You Have
Everyone who HAS done that thing takes a drink. If you've never done it, you don't drink. Simple!
Share the Story
This is where the real fun begins! Players who drink should share their story about the experience. Continue around the circle until everyone's had enough.
Non-Drinking Version
Each player starts with 5 fingers up. Put a finger down when you've done something. Last player with fingers up wins! This version is great for all ages and settings where alcohol isn't appropriate.
Tips for a Great Game
- •Mix it up: Alternate between mild and spicy questions to keep the energy right
- •Know your crowd: Save the embarrassing questions for close friends
- •Encourage stories: The best part is hearing the details, not just who drinks
- •No judgment: Keep it fun and light - this isn't a courtroom
